Finally, something knocks Transformers out of the #1 spot…

According to Boxofficemojo, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs opened strong with $13.8 million on Wednesday, and taking first place for the day. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen took in $10.9 million, good for second place, and raising its domestic total to $239.3 million. Public Enemies opened at third with $8.2 million. Bruce Snyder, Fox's domestic distribution president was very happy with the opening, stating…

"What a great start for the holiday. Ice Age continues to be a comedy for all audiences."

Can't wait to see Public Enemies! I live only a couple miles away from where they shot the movie in Wisconsin. And I love Gangster movies. Awesome!

if you check boxoffice mojo now, transformers beat both of them thursday, and will most likely this weekend. fuck the critics
